On Instagram, there is an option to use Create Mode, a temporal story post with text in which one can display their thoughts. I am an avid user of the Create Mode stories, especially in exhibiting my personal thoughts online. I thought about how I can transfer this online exhibition of what is basically my online diary, into a physical public space people can interact with. I wanted to incorporate the internet as a medium/tool for art and provoking conversation.

Through the way in which the projection masked onto the leaves and left a shadow, almost representing overgrown shrubbery, I noticed how nature influenced the “deterioration” of my digital archive, similar to how physical archives deteriorate because of time. It allows the passerby to observe the stillness between nature, and the digital, and the ways in which they interact.
